Shine Little Light, Shine

"Shine, Little Light, and Brighten the World!" Victoria Boyson, Houston Texas.

For the very first time, I am highlighting someone else's thoughts today. This word from Victoria Boyson was posted on "The Elijah List" on Monday, March 31st, 2025. It spoke to me, and will encourage you.

Every Good and Perfect Gift

"So don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession." (James 1:16–18 NLT)

Thirty-seven years ago, my husband gave me a nearly flawless diamond when he asked me to marry him. It shined beautifully when the light hit it because of its ideal cut and high quality. Well, through the thirty-seven years that I have worn that ring, it has gone through a lot. I wear it as I paint, when I garden, and when I clean toilets. There are times when it has gotten disgustingly filthy and has ceased to shine, when I've looked at it and all I see is dirt.

I couldn't see the beauty of the diamond because of all it had endured, but no matter how much dirt, hairspray, or hand lotion—no matter what paint or slime it gets dowsed in—it NEVER stops being a flawless diamond. Just because I have mistreated it, doesn't mean it's changed. It is still the beautiful, sparkling diamond I received thirty-seven years ago. When I give it attention, clean it, and polish it, the diamond sparkles once again, just like it did the first time I saw it.

Unless It Lines Up with His Truth, It Is Worthless

Well, you are just like the diamond in my ring! God only gives perfect gifts. You are high quality, and you sparkle in the light of his love. You are a gift to the world. In this world, you will have to endure things, things that will get you dirty. You will go through hardships you should not have to endure, but you will never stop being what God has made you.

There is only one genuine truth about you, and that is the Father's truth. Everything else said about you is a lie. Unless it lines up with is truth, it is worthless.

You are a gift to the world, a treasure the Father loves. You were given to the world because he longs to prove his love to it. He does not give flawed gifts, only GOOD and PERFECT gifts that he is proud of. He created you to shine and sparkle, radiating his light to the world!

The enemy doesn't want you to shine, so he tries to redefine you. He sends people to you who try to change your concept of who you are and what you are capable of. But remember this, you come from the Father of lights. You are an eternal, created being—a light sent to shine in a dark world!

As a Christian, you belong to him, NOT to this world. You come from his home, and you shine with the light of heaven. No matter what the world throws at you, you never stop being a created, eternal, and heavenly light.

"Shine, Little Light, and Brighten the World!"

You were his first, and he loved you so much that he looked down to the earth, saw the darkness, and thought, "I am going to send this beautiful, perfect gift to Texas to brighten it up!" Or, he looked at Australia, Canada, China, or Russia and said, "Here you go, beloved; here's a gift for you. Shine, little light, and brighten the world!"

Sometimes when he gives a gift, it's not always appreciated as he would like. You are that gift, and at times you have been treated in ways he never intended you to be treated. He longs for his gift, his light, his treasure (you) to be appreciated and valued, but you haven't always been treated right. There have been times when you have been caked in mud and treated with disrespect.

He sees how you have been treated and he says, "If they can't love what I love, I will love it." And he draws you to himself and holds you, and absorbs the pains in your heart, and scrubs off all the dirt and lies of the enemy that you've endured. He tells you, once again, who you are and what you are destined to be to the world. He says, "You are a treasure, you are a gift—shine for me!" And so you do.

You shine for him when he becomes your focus! You can't look to the world for love or to find out who you are. You look to him. He created you and knows you better than you know yourself. He has journeyed with you through every pain and every sorrow. He bore your sickness and fought to draw you to himself so he could redeem you and love you as he intended. He watches as you shine, radiating light into the darkness, and he beams with pride.

The enemy will try anything to stop your light. He throws temptation in your path because he knows he can use regret to haunt you with your sin and hinder your light. When people who should love you don't, you feel every minute of the pain rejection can bring. But no matter how you've been treated, no matter what you've done, you are still a perfect gift, and under all the dirt, you shine.

Indeed, my friend, when the Father's love fills you and renews you, you shine and light up the darkness! And he beams with pride, for "we, out of all creation, became his prized possession" (James 1:18).

I Am the Only Answer

I hear the Father saying, "I absolutely did not send a spirit of fear to guide you anymore than I have lied to you. Why are you then burdened by fear for your future? If you're faith is placed in a person or a plan, your faith is misplaced.

"I am reaching out to you so you will learn to lean on me. I am not as concerned about the resolution of your troubles as I am in seeing the change in your heart. I want you to trust in me and seek my help, and I will hear you and bring the answer.

"I AM THE ONLY ANSWER, and I will make sure you know clearly that it is by my hand that help comes. I want you to see that it's been me all along sending help into your path, because I love you, and I am raising you up in this hour.

How Does God Make a King?

"When you're heart is troubled, ask yourself, 'How does God make a king?' For I don't look for kings in palaces, but in pastures. In this hour, my task is to raise up new rulers with pure hearts to replace the old, corrupt ones. I have placed these new rulers in precarious situations to build their faith in me. For they will stand out as my kings and my priests, and will need to be strong to maintain the powerful blessings I will lay on their shoulders.

"I will send many to those who want to know me, and I want to be certain they can withstand the burden of [the weight of other people], as well as their own. They are the ones who've learned to keep themselves from the influence of the world, and will be victorious in influencing others for me. For when you understand that you can never be a part of the world's system, the way others are, you will accomplish more for me than you ever dreamed.

"IT IS TIME FOR ME TO OVERTURN THE ENEMY'S STRONGHOLDS! I will replace the image of the beast with MY image in you! Let your light shine, and I will bring others to you who are seeking me as well!

"My children wonder if I am able to save their nation; that's a simple thing. I have already saved the whole world, and I will reveal my plans through YOU! And I will light the world through your nation! Kings will come to your light and surrender their authority to mine!

"This is the moment to REJOICE and not doubt!"
