God is calling us out of darkness to live in the light. His desire is to see us thriving, and living in peace, joy, and blessing. Yet, because of life’s difficulties and emotional pain, there are things that are not functioning well, as they were designed to. We are in need of healing in spirit, soul, and body. There are areas of our hearts and minds, that need God’s touch.

When we are out of alignment with God, and relying on our own understanding or intellect, we are going to see things through our soul’s view. We view things through our experiences and our pain, and not the eyes of our spirit. Our spirit was meant to perceive the things of God and communicate with Him. Our person is the integration of our spirit, soul, and body, so healing from God can touch all areas of who we are. We need God to transform our thoughts and bring wholeness to us. Emotional and spiritual restoration heals the body as well.

1 Pet 2:4-5 NIV “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” (spiritual and physical healing)

Prov 3:5-8 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (physical healing through spiritual health)

Ps 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (emotional healing)

Ps 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”  (healing of thoughts and behavioral patterns: mental and emotional healing in our soul)

Jesus came to make us whole! We must accept His sacrifice for our salvation, but also for our healing and restoration.

Matt 10:7-8 'As you go, preach this message “The kingdom of heaven is near.” Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.'

We can tell others about the tremendous healing that comes from trusting in God. The power if God is working in us, and through us, to bring life.

3 Jn 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. (prospering in NKJV).

This is the heart of God for us. The Lord desires that all would go well with us, and that we would prosper in every area: including health. As you seek God for healing and restoration, remember that He will want to touch and heal all areas of your life: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Matt 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Everyone who seeks, finds. It may not happen the first time you ask, so persevere. Ask, and keep on asking, seek and continue to seek, knock and don’t stop knocking.

Thank you, God, for your love for me. I see from your word that you desire to heal and restore many areas of my life. Please reveal to me what area most needs your touch today. I believe you know me God, and I trust you to heal me. Amen.
